"I would just like to offer some feedback on Curtis and Sonya's effort on the Point Beach Conversion effort.

First, although Sonya is gone, you should know what a valuable and loyal employee she was.  Although she was leaving your company, her biggest concern was that the client (us) was not left in a lurch and she wanted to ensure Evans had everything they needed.  She did nothing but praise Evans and hoped that Evans and FPL would continue their great partnership.  I have not often seen this type of behavior in an employee leaving a company.

In her turnover she worked very hard ensuring Curtis was up to speed on our process.  If it weren't for Curtis' talents and tenacity, it would not have really mattered what Sonya did, Curtis still had to perform.

And perform he did!  He did a TERRIFIC job picking this up from Sonya.  I don't know how we could have accomplished this without his help. Curtis is very knowledgeable and a gifted instructor.  He can think quickly on his feet and can adapt at a moment's notice.  I am sure that at times his patience was tested but he performed admirably throughout this process and kept me well informed of the progress.

I have to admit, I was quite concerned about how this would go.  There was no doubt in my mind Sonya would do all in her power to make it happen.  I knew Curtis would give it his best shot, but it's hard to replace almost 3 years of experience Sonya had working with us on the project. Overall, it was my faith in your company (and Sonya) that kept me from looking for other help, just in case, and I'm not disappointed I didn't call in back-up.

As long as I have anything to do with it, Evans will be my first choice whenever we are looking for services that you offer.  I also consider you and the folks I have worked with at Evans (including Sonya) to be family.   I look forward to continuing our relationship in the years ahead.
